Lepomis/Sunfish

Did some bartering, with art as my half of the trade! This started off as a bluegill (Lepomis macrochirus) but ended up taking on the colors of a male green sunfish (Lepomis cyanellus), ha. This was the first time I'd really tried to render fish scales traditionally, and I have a better idea of how to approach it next time. c:

This guy is colored pencil, watercolor, gouache, and ink, all on hotpress watercolor paper, appx 5x7″
